Euchre Card game is originated in England with a unique trick of playing and winning. It involves two players with two teams where all the teammates are sitting at the table together. This game uses only 25 cards out of 54 decks of cards. The basic of winning the games are:
Determining the trump
There are also free online games where the players can get to know about the tricks. The face up cards will be displayed and the players of the team can decide that suit will be trump. The players can say “I order it up” or pass. The players can also say “I take it up”. If the dealer or any opponents accepts the trump the dealer take the face up card and discards one from his hand.
Scoring of the game
The makers get one point for winning three of four tricks and two points for winning all five. The defenders get 2 points if they get at least three tricks.
Play
When any player can choose to play alone and then that players’ partner lies his cards face down and doesn’t play the round. The team that accepted the trump is the makers and the other team is the defenders. The maker’s goal is to win at least three of the five possible tricks. After the lead is played, play goes clockwise around the table. The highest card of the lead suit or the highest trump wins the tricks.
